Been using the Huawei P30pro and spoiled by the amazing camera. So this a natural upgrade for me.

I have never owned a Samsung phone and swore I'd stay away. However, I heard that the new UI is a much needed step up from their old junk, and my Pixel 2 XL is acting up. The UI is better, I usually use it for a few weeks. But then ill get tired of it and just use Action Launcher.

Samsung's UI has been pretty great for a few years now actually. Also, you could always use a third-party launcher and turn you phone into a Pixel anyway.

As far as TouchWiz vs the new UI (forget the name), it wasn't just about that, but more about the bloat and overall experience with Samsung's apps and tweaks. Like I said, I've heard it's much better now, so I'm looking forward to the new phone. The demo model was incredible!

Hi All


I have ordered the s20 Ultra as I felt the camera looked massively "better" but now I am in two minds

I may cancel and reorder the s20 plus. I have however got 12% quidco (cashback site). I am most concerned with the weight!

I would have to get the lightest/thinnest case to compensate but I am not sure I can live with that extra 33g of weight (coming from a S9 plus).

for general use I don't see the width being a problem and I already seem to use 2 hands to message etc on the s9 plus!

any other S9 plus or S10 plus users thinking of going supersized?

I have even briefly held it in store but its hard to gauge with the security device on the back! I cant make up my mind!!!!

I have a Galaxy S9+ and, for the money, the base model S20 is a big enough boost in capability. I couldn't justify the extra cash for the other models....even with the limited 5G capability of the base S20

I voted S20 Ultra, but I'm actually undecided between that and the S20 Plus. I don't think the difference would be huge, but I want to see what the reviews say about the 108mp camera and how the battery life is on the Ultra before I decide to place the order. I'm like 80% sure I'll get the Ultra.

Well after seeing reviews and photo/video comparisons - I think I'll skip on the phone. Just don't think the image quality from the camera is good enough. Might see how the Note 20/iPhone 11S/Pixel 5 are to determine my next phone.

Would have liked to see Samsung put more emphasis on the software processing of their camera, because from what I've seen, it's quite a bit behind the iPhone 11 or Pixel 4 cameras, and camera is very important to me.

I never ended up ordering the Galaxy S20. Seems like a nice phone, but the camera killed the deal for me.

I ordered a s20+ and was dead set on it, until I finally went and saw them in person. The ultra is barely much bigger and very nice so yeah I'm getting the grey ultra 128.
