Poor Battery Life on my Huawei Watch

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I've been seeing the same on my watch as well. At first the watch could last for 2 days, and now it barely makes a day. Factory reset doesn't help, though I still had all the apps installed. Now trying removing one app after another, so far no luck.

I'll try your suggestion after, using Huawei's watchfaces. How can I tell which watchfaces are from Huawei without uninstalling watchmaker?

Funny that nowadays, even Watchmaker and Facer watch faces seem to be okay. Battery life is satisfactory, lasting me the whole day so I charge mornings.

Again, nothing beats Huawei stock faces. Those are the original faces pre-installed when you got your watch.

Iam using huawei smart watch since june and battery life is awesome 2 days i was using moto 360 gen 1 earlier that barely lasted a day

I've had my Huawei since mid-June. I use active features on it a fair amount, and have found that with brightness set to 3 on a stock face, always-on display, with Wi-Fi and gestures off, I would get a solid day of use out of it connected to my Nexus 6 and by the time I was ready for bed it would usually be 20-25% battery remaining.

Enter the Pixel XL. No changes in the way it's run or apps, and I made sure that, like with the Nexus 6, Battery Optimization was turned off. To my surprise, at the end of day 1 I was at 75%. On average it holds up to about 70-80% of its charge through the day. I've just let it run without charging for 2 days and am now setting it on the charger, with 22% remaining.

I'm not sure if it was an issue with the quality of the Nexus 6's bluetooth connectivity vs the Pixel XL or what, but the watch only sips power now, noticeably less than 1/2 of what it consumed on the Nexus 6.

Hey that's awesome news. So it can be dependent on the phone it's paired with. Can't wait to get the Nougat update for my LG G4 coz on the flip side, my phone's battery is affected by the watch paired to it as soon as I got Marshmallow
