POP Email Not Loading

I am new to the EPIC (6 Days) and enjoying it but having some trouble with email. My Gmail and Yahoo accounts seem to work fine however my POP comcast account and POP School account sometimes do not load. It seems to be random where sometimes I get emails loaded to the Epic and othertimes they don't (it shows loading but that screen never goes away). Any suggestions?

Does anyone know if the EVO handles POP email better than the Epic?

I don't use POP mail myself, but you might try a 3rd party app like K9 and see if that clears it up.

I haven't used POP mail in awhile (years);

I've use my gmail account to check my POP mail regularly. It shows up under it's own label and is therefore easy to ascertain which account it came from. Is this an option for you?

My Google gmail program only gives me the option to create another gmail account. Please tell me where to go to setup a non gmail account in the stock gmail mail app...

You need to do it from the website - gmail.com

I believe it's under settings > accounts

I have Comcast POP email, my Gmail retrieves it fine but not as quick as I would like. Besides Gmail is not my email app of choice since I still rely mainly on my ISP's email for my main email system. I only use Gmail for whatever is required by my phone.

I would recommend K9 email system, which I've been using for about 2 months now and it works very nice for troublesome POP email accounts with Gmail.

Otherwise you can always download the Xfinity app from Comcast and access you email that way.
