'POP UP' notifications and TOP of screen notifications

Hi, I have enabled 'pop up' notifications on s10 (bit like the bubble notifications)... which is great for my use, but every time I open up the pop up notifications, it still shows I've got pending notifications on the top of the screen... it only just happened after recent updates... any ideas how to make the top of screen notifications disappear once the pop up ones are being opened?... thanks
