Popup saying "android.process.acore has stopped" after updating to 5.0 Lollipop

So yesterday, I updated my D800 G2 to 5.0 Lollipop. Since then, I have been getting a popup saying "android.process.acore has stopped" every few seconds and its honestly pissing me off. I can't access my contacts and making phone calls is a difficult process which requires me to go to a third party messaging app and access the call button from there. I've tried clearing the data from my contacts but that didn't help. I want to avoid resetting as much as possible but if I have to, then I will. If I have to reset, does anyone have a good method of backing everything up?

I would say go for the reset.
