Just got shipping confirmation on my Alano.ordered Monday. 3 day turn around.
You ordered your Alano this past Monday (7/30) and got shipping confirmation, or ordered a week before that, when they first opened up the site on 7/23? I ordered mine the 23rd and nothing yet... 3 day would be pretty surprising, given they're saying 5-7 business day on normal bookcase, 7-10 on Alano.
I ordered the Midnight black with the intellistand this Monday the 30th. I asked them this morning via Twitter what the turn around time would be for Alano and I was told mine would ship Tuesday as it was in the cover process. I found this odd as they didn't even ask for an order number. Two hours later I got shipping confirmation. I'm guessing if you went for the Laser etched spider one or Tesoro one the process is longer.
I received mine today, pretty stoked that it took only one day from St. Louis to Chicago even though I paid "Standard Shipping".

Outside is Tangerine Buckram, inside Green Apple, elastic Green Apple. No IntelliStand or magnets. I apologize for the air bubbles you may see on the screen, I didn't do such a good job putting the screen protector.
Overall I'm pretty happy with my purchase, it came out to $43.95. It looks very well made and it folds back just fine.

Looks very nice! How are the cutouts for the volume and power buttons? Easily accessible? How about the sound - what sort of impact does the sound channeling have?
Would love to see some more pictures as people get their cases, looks great!

Hey so does it pop in and out easily or is it hard to take out.also how do games like landscape games feel with the case

Jeremy, the cut outs are just fine. The sound i honestly don't hear much of a difference but at least it doesn't sound muffled or anything.

It pops in really easy. I tried popping it out and couldn't. The tag that came with it has a picture on how to take it out but cant find it. I'll look it up later and try again.
I have no problems playing on landscape mode. Feels fine.

I ordered 7/25 it shipped 8/1 and was delivered 8/2. Mine doesn't have intellistand or magnets.

I found out late about the cases and I ended up ordering late 7/28. I ordered a classic bookcase with magnets,elastic strap and intellistand. I also got the case embossed. I emailed Lea and she said 7 to 10 days production time.

I ordered mine online 8 days ago and received my tracking number today. I'd say based on that 5 to 7 days is about dead on. I can't wait to get it.

They seem to be getting out the 'standard' cases on their normal schedule; the customization of the embossing is probably what extended it a little.
Mine just arrived! I'll try to post pictures soon. Quick first impressions are that it is an awesome case. I'm typing with it in portrait mode right now, and it is still comfortable. The quality is very high, and it feels very solid. It adds a bit of weight, but I think its worth it.
The sound is not as good as when you hold the naked device and place your hand behind it, but it is passable. I would not say it is muffled, but it sounds mono now, whereas without a case the nexus 7 does a good job of faking a stereo effect. That said I don't find it unpleasant. Most of the time I am using headphones when playing media on the device anyway.
I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a folio style case.

You are probably right. I added the emobossing like day or two later as an upgrade.
