Do the magnets work properly with the sleep/wake function?

Torn between this and something completely custom...seen some nice things on Etsy for eReaders.

The magnet does work properly. Mine sleeps and wakes up as it should, and there is no problem of the magnet triggering the sleep function from the rear.

It pops in really easy. I tried popping it out and couldn't. The tag that came with it has a picture on how to take it out but cant find it. I'll look it up later and try again.
I have no problems playing on landscape mode. Feels fine.

If it's anything like the iPad , there's definitely a bit of a trick to get it out. You can't pull it up like you would expect. You turn the case over, and push the top two corners of the case (from the back of the case), releasing the device. It definitely gives me confidence that the device won't be going anywhere without a real effort!

Let us know when you get yours! I'm curious to see how the Alano compares to the standard case, especially with intellistand and the softer, more flexible leather cover vs. the hardback standard cover. Post pictures if you can!

Looks like those of us that ordered Alanos requiring etching/staining/leafing will need to wait a little longer. I really hope mine ships next week!

Its thick enough that I no longer can put the 7 in my pocket. 2 naked 7s back to back equals roughly the thickness of the case. Overall though I love the feel but I still prefer no case at all. If you seen my epic touch and how there is a crack throughout the entire phone you'd understand why I'm using it. I'd really love to see pictures if anyone bought the composition style. Edit-- there ya go.

How`s the weight on N7 with the case? I think the add thickness of the case will the N7 either to hold for myself. I find the N7 naked can slip out my hands at times and found the Google cover helps with that issue IMO. I am excited to get my N7 in bookcase because primarily use my N7 long periods of time in my hands browsing and reading.

Not gonna lie your case looks sick! Today marks 6 work days since i ordered my case. Hope it ships by the end of this week. I got the magnets and intellstand so we will see.
