Possible Picture Confirming 8/4?

Web interface. Not sure if you're trying to be an A-hole because he said "wed" instead of "web" or are generally confused and was asking a legit question, but i would think anyone could see what he was trying to say.

On a side note my boss emailed our Verizon rep for our company and asked her about the Bionic release date or info as we are planning to order about 20 or so phones right away, I'll post if i hear anything worthy.

I am started to get excited now. Just received an E-mail from Verizon Wireless about a minute ago indicating that I will be receiving a free lte upgrade for my Xoom in September. The link fro
m the E-mail is shown below. Isn't that what one of that what was indicated by the leaked picture from for the Xoom that people would start receiving emails today? If one picture is right......

I just logged into my account and mine and my wifes OG Droids are listed... mine is eligible for upgrade. I hover over the thing and it says this:

"You are eligible to upgrade with discounted pricing. If you upgrade on or after 9/07/11 you are eligible to receive an additional loyalty discount."

So... i can upgrade at a discounted price already... but would save more IF i waited till 9-7-2011? not sure I can/will wait to see the few dollars off...

Somebody cut me off, I must have had to much to drink. Either that or I was so excited, I wasn't realizing what I was typing. What I meant to say is that one of the leaked pictures indicated that Xoom owners would be getting an email about the upgrade today.

in wich case, you are still correct. the inter-company communications are still web-based. and since it's inter-company, there's no reason to be choosey about fonts or styles (or apparently spelling as far as this example is concerned). Note the "Logout" X at the top left. I think there is a definite likelihood that this is legit.

Trust me, a company like VZW has standards that include not just the font, but also the size and much more for all commuications, even inter-company.

Whether or not people use them however, is another story entirely.

I believe the discount now is the same price that a new 2 year agreement would pay. The "additional" discount you get if you wait is only like $30 off the 2 year price. At least that's how it was for me, which I'm obviously saving for the bionic... Hope these rumours are all true and I'll be preordering this week

Ahh... yeah, then i'm not going to wait till Sep 7th, unless its not released till then I'm WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too impatient to let $30 get in my way. lol

It seems to me that Motorola is finally giving us consumers what we need. First it was the Atrix GB update, the Photon releasing, all these leaks on the Bionic and Xoom, and lastly, the DX2 GB and the new Blur is officially OTA.

(Now I get to play with the new blur + gb on my dads X2 =) )

The funny thing is seeing all these newly released phones still trying to play catch up, and I'm sitting here downloading 2.3.5 for my OG Droid. :>

I loved my OG. If Motorola would just unlock the bootloader on the Bionic, they would have an instant success on their hands.
