a little late there buddy
I like how they repeatedly say "We cannot sell or display it until 12/9". Add that to the fact that it says they're receiving the shipments in a different way than how they usually do, sounds like Verizon really wants to keep this release low-key. Like, sneak it into stores and not tell the public.
Which is ironic considering the press release today. But oh well.![]()
You didn't think we'd leave you hanging, did you? After all these weeks, the speculation and anticipation is finally coming to a close. Multiple sources speaking to RootzWiki have confirmed that the CDMA Galaxy Nexus is set to land on American soil this Friday, December 9th. About damn time, we say!
The following documents were leaked to us by an authorized Verizon retailer which nod their head rather suggestively towards December 9th as the day that the Galaxy Nexus will land in stores throughout the country:
As you can see, stores will begin receiving shipments of the device on December 6th (among those that haven't already), with the grand launch day taking place December 9th. RootzWiki spoke to independent sources confirming the date.
With retailers gearing up for the device with accessories and whatnot, it's no surprise that the device is ready to land. What is surprising is that it took this long to begin with. Still, with Verizon devices delayed as they as they are wont to do (we're looking at you, Thunderbolt), it's best to take any rumor with a hefty grain of salt, no matter how certain it may seem.
So what about you? Are you still waiting for a Verizon Galaxy Nexus? Or are you throwing you chips in on the GSM versions?

Did they already pull the linky?
Because this is out anywhere....Oh wait it just came out. Sorry this is pretty much as solid proof as you can get and much better than "a rep said bs" Sorry nobody forced you to read it. People these days.
Yeah I think their server is getting pounded at the moment. Refreshed a few times and it served up the page again, so they definitely haven't taken it downWow....that's crazy.....worked for me earlier.
The words 'authorized Verizon retailer' means you should ignore it. BritishTurbo reported several hours ago that authorized retailers have been told they won't be allowed to sell it until the 15th, while corporate stores will get it on the 8th.
In other words; nothing has changed, and this 'proof' is nothing different than what we already knew.
