Possible to use gingerbread theme on stock rom??

Does anyone know if it's possible to use a theme to make the stock rom to look like gingerbread? I've got the gingerbread launcher, but the white notification bar drives me nuts. I'd rather have the black bar with the gingerbread icons if possible, but don't really want to change ROM's for the time being (since they all seem to have issues, and i've got no beef with stock)

idk if this will help but been messing around with UTO Kitchen to learn how to make a theme. if theres a different way maybe one of the devs or a or someone could help. im just learning myself. Are you rooted?

yah, rooted running ZVC software currently.

You need to be on a rom that is deodexed so it can be themed

The background for the notification bar and the notification and date settings are in framework-res.apk To change the clock time you have to go into services.jar. All other icons will be in the individual apks themselves. Jasonevil is correct you have to deodex the rom but you can re-odex it after you make all the changes.
