Possibly making a video?

So ... I was thinking now that I've tried every ROM for the Optimus S I would now make a video on how to root, install CWMA, and install various ROM's and put them all in one thread. That way, if anyone was having problems they could just watch the video on how to do it.

Thoughts?

Great Idea! The more how to's (in theory) the less questions....
Youtube video how to's are great I learned how to replace a water pump on a 89 Cherokee on you tube then replaced my sister in law's lol

Will do then ... I actually just finished up how to root; however, I find that the easiest part in the entire process.

YES!

I found that some things that were just inherent to the people who know what they are doing were completely neglected in the instructions.

For instance the fact that you need to type su in the cmd prompt...and look at your phone to allow access to Super User in order to get the #. Simple step that I never really found documented in the steps...and had stumbled upon in the threads when I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get my rom to flash.

That is just one small thing that comes to mind. I am sure there are other things that will appear in a video tutorial that will help a Noob like me out immensely. In fact, before I decided to root I looked for a video guide but couldn't find one.

agreed. And the least scary because you don't have to wipe the phone.
