Couple quick questions before I hit submit on my Amazon order. I'm currently on T-Mobile in the US.

1) Does the standard Mate 9 have a notification LED?
2) Does it support all of T-Mobiles US bands?
3) Is Wi-Fi calling supported?

Yes it does have led notification. Yes all late bands. No does not have WiFi calling. I bought mine on bhphoto got it Friday. Love it. Great in hand and great pics.

1) Yes, the standard Mate 9 does have a notification LED.
2) Yes, it does support all of T-Mobiles US bands, including Band 12! I'm using my Mate 9 on T-Mobile right now!
3) Yes, Wi-Fi calling is supported!

#3 is incorrect. I have a Mate 9 and using on T-Mobile and there is currently no setting for WiFi calling anywhere that I see. There is enhanced LTE, but no WiFi calling.

Well I ordered the phone from Amazon last night. It's actually for my old man, he was using a V10 but now he's moving to the Mate 9. Hopefully the WiFi calling thing works out, but if not, it's not a deal breaker either way.

if you use the hangouts dialer app while connected to wifi it will call using wifi or if your not connected to wifi it will use ur data connection.

You're right. My apologies. It has the capability to do WiFi calling, but it's not activated on the US version of the phone for some reason.
