My Baseband version is showing as 2.41.04.02.02 on the second leak.

Actually I'm on Ivan's ROM 0.5.4 which uses the same second leak and rooted so not sure if that makes a difference but I heard that there is a "bug" that the correct system info doesnt show.

I was just talking to tech at verizon wireless and this girl really told me that they started pushing out the 2.1 updates OTA in January. How can this be possible? I think this bitch just has no clue what she's thinking about.

they claim the sprint hero is getting updated april 9th, I hope this means ours is coming soon as well!

Be patient. I think the Verizon techs ppl keep talking to are in the dark about the update like everyone else. I understand your frustration because of all these so called release dates for the ota keep being delayed but there isn't any thing anyone can do about it.

I've just learned to ignore all the release dates ppl keep posting on here or any other forum.

the htc incredible is coming, and it's amazing. that's my next phone. supposed to be here between now and end of april i think, it's still in testing.

what's the baseband version on the newer leak?

who knows i'm beginning to think that we are never going to get the 2.1 OTA update now that tomarrow is the end of the first quarter. if infact we dont get the 2.1 update i'm just going to switch back to a moto droid or the incredible when it comes out because i am def. starting to loose hope of this ****ing update

well I just talked to a HTC customer service rep and he said that they got a notice in today that verizon has pushed the update back to be released at the end of april. He said it was supposed to start coming out OTA last Friday but for some reason they feel the need to f*ck with us untill the end of april so I dont know guys but this sucks

I'm hoping the Eris gets the update before my spring break is over...

I got sick of waiting and installed 2.1 leak, flan gallery, and the nexus music player today. Everything is working great. Some keyboard lag, but downloaded Swype and everythings great again.

Hopefully Verizon will put out the update for Eris soon, but I didn't want to wait anymore

I've been using Better Keyboard and I find that there is zero lag in typing even when on net. not exactly sure why that is though...
