It seems like every site is referring to that one post on xda. I spoke with a sprint rep using the chat function on sprint's website last night. His exact words were:

"We are actively working on having the Android platform available to our Hero and Moment customers over the coming weeks." "However, there is no fixed date has been mentioned here."

So I don't put much stock in that release date of the 26th that all of the sites keep referring to. I don't think it will happen until sometime in April. I would like for it to happen sooner but I think I am just going to sit back and use a custom rom until the nexus becomes available.

It was suppose to come today but it didn't so the hell with it I will end up getting the supersonic which is the evo4g when it comes out and have my hero as a backup phone.

Moot point. The Evo might come out at this rate before the official 2.1. I honestly don't care anymore as the devs have gone to work and the 2.1 ROMs out built on the Eris leaks are great.

guys...the official Sprint twitter account said Early 2Q which doesnt even start until april! I didnt really believe that it would come out on the 26 anyways. Im pretty sure it will be out in April which is the beginning of the 2Q!

I'm so tired of waiting for this update

I'm close either rooting this phone or selling/trading/getting rid of it

Picture mail keeps failing
Phone lags too much
Freezes up at times
Takes a while to load items

I'll try to hold off for just a lil bit longer
