Cool, there seems to be Full Exchange support!!

I've noticed no lagg, and i've already installed all my previous apps.

Can you elaborate on the Exchange support for me? Are the folders now sorted? Also, on 1.5 when I deleted a message from my inbox it would move it to the Deleted Items folder as unread. Does it still do that? How about tasks, can you now sync up your tasks?

I'm having some issues, I followed the instruction and downloaded the new file to my SD card, then I held down the power and call keys, then I pressed <VOL DOWN> HBoot Mode, a bunch of code pops up then it just sends me back to <SEND> FastBoot Mode which puts me back to where I started. Can somebody tell me if (or what?) I'm doing wrong?

It reboots a couple of times. Did you let it play out? I believe after the second series of codes, it works.

I'm loving it so far, but having one problem I haven't seen brought up anywhere else. When I get an incoming call while it's asleep, the lock screen appears rather than the "Accept/Decline" screen. Has anyone else had that issue, or know how to fix it?

Also, this isn't a problem, but there's a symbol on the top of the home screen I don't understand and doesn't appear in the instruction manual. It appears in the center, so it's not a notification icon, and the best I can do to describe it is it kind of looks like an ear, or an earpiece with a mic, and a couple of lines next to it indicating sound. Does anyone know what that means?

Yes I have noticed handcent is messed up too. Be aware, on my phone handcent has been sending several duplicates. Using the stock app for now. And my calls come in fine. Absolutely no complaints here, will be looking forward to the actual update for a few fixes.

Also getting the "handcentSMS duplicate" issue. NOT cool!!

Question: you folks that have gone back to using the stock messaging app, did you uninstall Handcent, or just stop using it?

twizler3: If I am understanding what you are saying correctly, what I think you need to do is hit either the End button or press in on the trackball when that menu pops up the second time. Then wait a few seconds and it should start loading up a second time.

Here's something for you guys: I downloaded a live wallpaper to be able to try it, but it doesn't seem to exist anywhere. I realize it won't work, but is it taking up space anyplace??

Yeah, I thought the same thing. It's unfortunate but hey, the stock app really isn't all that bad...

As for your other question about LWP, I couldn't imagine it NOT taking up space. Anyways, if it doesn't work why would you want it on your phone?

that's my point, I downloaded it to try it, then couldn't get it to work. Afterward, (of course I read AFTER) I researched and found that it can't be used.

BTW, it takes up 476k, just found it in Applications management and uninstalled!!

Not sure if this will end up being the official 2.1 for eris or not but when I think about just how much better this phone experience is compared to the blackberry I was using only 3 months ago it really amazes me. And I've also noticed swype on 2.1 is even better than it was on 1.5.

gtalk is still there its called "talk" now only "talk" not gtalk anymore and now no duplicate apps

wooo i was looking through the settings and you can now delete your words you added to the dictionary that you didn't want to add
