Just Got my call. I have a Apt at 3:30

I called them cause I got tired of waiting. Gave me a noon appointment but weren't even going to take down my name until I asked them.

While this isn't directly related to this specific thread, they told me that they WILL NOT honor my $100 NE2 promotion as they are already offering the phone at a discount. Sounds like it's dependent on who the manager is and what they're willing to do. Bit of a bummer.

I hadn't got my call yet so I called my local Best Buy (Federal Way, WA).

They said they hadn't started making calls yet because they still couldn't verify how much inventory they'd be getting so she asked me what number I was and I told her "B****, I'm #1" (not really, but I am #1) so she said mine is there and available (YES, SHE CALLED IT MINE!!!) so I scheduled my appointment at opening, 10am.

Can't wait.

Got called today around 6:00. I believe I was number 3 or 4 on the list. It sounded like the store near me (east tennessee) will have plenty.

Got a call around 12:00. Was told to come pick it up at 10:00 am tomorrow.

So I get a call around 3:30pm from BB saying we've received the Droid X come on in and pick it up. I said really I can pick it up today she said yes. So I go in and wait in line to get a rep to help me and I see a gentleman checking out with his Droid x. Once I sit down and get a woman to help me(she just got to work) she questions whether they're supposed to be selling them. Well after a few calls she ends up calling a rep from VZW for BB and they said no b/c there will be big fines. So yeah didn't get my phone and was pissed b/c the guy ahead of me got his :/ oh well only hours to go. Good news though I'm first on the list tomorrow for appointments at open
