It was windy. The wild rose was moving around a little, but I managed to snap this after a couple tries. First photo I took with the phone.

Has anyone tested if an app like camera zoom fx able to assist with low light shots on the new X?

In DC on Saturday.

My first photo. After sunset and getting dark. Everything on auto, including focus, except turned flash OFF. Pretty damn good low light camera if you ask me. Camera was in wide angle mode.

Nice pics. How close did you get for those zoomed shots and were you at max zoom?

Thanks! I got about 20-30 feet away, maybe a little closer. And yeah, zoomed in at max. I also used the multishot feature. Just kept my finger on the screen and took like 8 pictures in like 2 seconds.
On the wide shot, if your screen is bright enough, you can see my buddy using his phone to take pics as well, (to the left of the hawk) and I took mine a little closer than he was. I didn't even know he was in the pic until I looked at it on my laptop.

Just took this photo wow.... Out at a wedding

My little buddies need a hair cut...

Regardless of the device used (phone, DSLR, etc.), I always recommend the photographer to get pics of their pets at eye level. Get down to their level, let their interest in you at that level wear off, and then start snapping some pics. You'll be amazed at how much better they turn out when you get pics of them from their own level.

Agreed.
