Really impressed by this phones camera especially using HDR which I did here. My phone even has excellent edge to edge sharpness!!

No lowlight yet but this image shows how sharp and bright it is in sunlight even though the image is boring

This is about as low light as I'd expect to get a usable image, and I'm impressed enough.

Outdoors. Using the HDR with this generation G has significant haloing between the light and dark areas. It's very noticeable between the trees and sky here. As for me I'll leave it off.

Only problem I have with the Motorola camera app is getting decent macros but I don't do many of those anyway

The shot of the silver disc building is Selfridges in Birmingham,15,000 discs which was one of the original Windows 7 wallpapers. Today I ordered a Moto X Play for £249 from Carphone Warehouse arriving tomorrow
