1. Go here LauncherPro Icons & Docks and find the dock background you want.

2. Home Screen, Menu Button, Preferences, Appearance Settings, Dock Background, Custom

3. Select your LauncherPro dock.

4. BAM!

Added a custom icon.

Is it becoming painfully obvious that I like the Yankees yet? :p

Is ther any way to get rid of the app names from the homescreens without downloading a homescreen replacement?

How about sharing that wallpaper :)

I can post a tutorial in the hacks section when I get a chance. You do have to be rooted and it is messing with the framework though so there's always a chance for going into bootloops but with the .sbf file out now, I thought I'd give it a shot. I'll post the tutorial as soon as I can. I did have a minor problem after doing it though so I may have to do over again but it's very nice (borat voice).

I got it from here though. Dark Gray Status Bar and Transparent Shade - XDA-Developers Forum

Proceed with caution.

hey avlfive, have you done this yet. im a noob so i wanted to wait and read up on this a lil more. the link you provided is very insightful but a little to advanced for me, so i wanted to check out your tutorial. Thanx
P.S. it does look very nice, i like (borat voice)

I was going to do a write up on it but it's XDA's user's files, their screenshots, and their tutorial so it would almost be a copy and paste of that thread with credit given so I don't know if I'm going to do it. I may just ask their permission since I'm a member there also.

I have done it though and I'm glad I did. I used the black one from the OG Droid. If you have any questions about it in the meantime, feel free to ask.

if you dont mind ill PM you with a few questions, but ill do it tomorrow, its past midnight and i got 5 hrs to sleep:)

Your Wallpaper did you take the picture yourself or you found it some where?

Google image search. I searched for either Yankees or Yankee stadium. I set the parameters to search for pics bigger than the size of the dx's wallpaper. Than just resized the pic to fit.

that yankee theme is pretty cool. I don't know much about using another home screen app...I'm scared it would kill my battery but if there was a Miami Heat theme similar to the yankee one (cool background with heat icons on the bottom) I might consider trying it. Isn't there too much running when you use LP?
