Here's my two screens. I'm still figuring out what I use most to setup the rest. I love black & red together so I built what I have around that.

Sorry about the pic links...I tried 'INSERT IMAGE' with the link to the pics from Flickr but it didn't work

Thanks, did some looking around, kinda tough sometimes on the X when I get a bad signal.

Anyway, use "Desktop Visualizer" app to make Home Screen shortcuts, just download "Text Icons" from any of these forums. From the home screen add a DV widget then select the icon from your gallery after you download, I made a dir on the sdcard named "MyIcons" and put all the .png files there.

The dock bars you see are Launcher Pro, which I bought yesterday, coming from ADW, Launcher Pro is a little more flexible, and the lack of dock bars is a pia.

Guess the real question is where to find those text icons?

Just google "droid x text icons." I found about 4 different sets in about 3 minutes. Not to be a jerk but it really isn't hard.
