Post Your Droid X Screens!!

Love the minimalist design and the contrasting colors.

Can you share how you went about it? I see you have ADW Launcher but how did you change those icons in the dock? The clock is from BW I am guessing? Also, how did you get the little icons all the way on top to be green?

The new ADW Launcher EX allows you to change any icon on the dock and home screens to whatever icon you have stored somewhere on your sd card

thanks gup! so, this set up is the following:

ROM: GummyJar 2.5 which comes w/ a Gingerbread theme (the green icons in the status bar)
Launcher: ADW EX
ADW Theme: Stock Blue (This will change the color of every icon in your app drawer)
Clock: BW spirelli-ginger clock and yr-icons for weather

very easy to do, give it a shot! :)

Thanks for the info...have played around with Launcher Pro (free version), but never gotten into it much.

And I agree, dont know what we can get a decent facebook widget on the market?

If you don't want a replacement launcher (I am unrooted and like Launcher Pro Plus) then check out Pure Messenger widget. You can set up widget similiar to Launcher Pro Plus and actually have several skin and size options. I used it before I started using Launcher Pro Plus.

very nice. so you are liking the new adw?? i just dont know if 15 mins is enough for me to be able to test it fully. i cant see myself leaving lpp.

yea, i've loving ADW EX. i was getting bored with LPP. the new desktop transitions alone warrant the purchase imo. and when you add in the ADW Notifier you can customize the notification bubble size, color etc. there are many ways to customize your desktop, and app drawer, its really great. the only thing i miss from LPP is customizable docks. so, give it a shot, it's awesome! i wont be moving back to LPP unless I see major improvements in the next version.

This. The screen transitions are amazing. I swear, two months ago I would never have even considered leaving LPP, but then I flashed RubiX 1.9 (I think anyway - but it comes with ADW preinstalled) and was getting a lot of LPP force closes. I figured what the hell and tried ADW for the next few days and, to no one's surprise more than my own, loved it. Once I got the hidden dock tweaked and laid with the same apps from the LPP scrolling dock, I was sold. Then ADW EX hit and wow. The app drawer options, transitions, and speed...it's awesome, and paired with GummyJAR, a killer combo. Still don't like that you can't customize the dock all that much, but overall I'm thrilled.

Also, this-

-is killer.
