One of my new fav backgrounds is the stock photo that looks like colours just exploed everywhere but instead of the colours being bright and vibrant, they are muted and soft. Love it!

If you don't like clutter, you probably won't like this:
I really made an effort to keep my home screen clean, but the rest are overflowing... i guess i'm still in that "everything including the kitchen sink" mode after upgrading from my klunky G1 to this Droid X powerhouse. Eventually i'll start putting things in folders and get it down to 5 screens. I'm also getting sick of green.

Does anyone know how he fit 5 columns of icons in there and 6 rows? Clutter or not, that could come in handy.

I believe he is using adw launcher, which gives you the ability to have extra icon spots on your homescreen. Launcherpro does this as well, though they only give you one extra row

You mean ADW.Launcher right? Yeah I just discovered that it goes up to 6x8 shortcuts comfortably if you turn off homescreen icon labels, which is pretty cool.

Unfortunately I'm currently obsessed with LauncherPro, so I'll have to mess around with ADW and see if I like it. Alternatively, I could use multicon widget, which with LauncherPro can get 8x10, so that's actually an even better solution that I just found. But I would still prefer something that uses icon labels. Thanks for the tip!

i am also a huge launcherpro fan. cant get over it. i used to use adw for a while, but once fede, the LPP dev, started cranking out crazy new features for the launcher, there is no reason to try anything else IMHO
