Feel like my phone layout is at a point that i'm content for a bit.

Apex launcher, MNML Circle White icons, Widget locker with Missed It on the lock screen, Notification toggles in pull down menu, Bob clock, Battery Widget Reborn.

This is fantastic! Although I'm having a few issues trying to imitate!

What is your clock widget on the lock screen?

And how can I get it so that Apex Launcher lets me use the Lock/Unlock button after I wake the phone up? At the moment all I can do is wake it up using the button on the top of the phone and my phone is active, whereas I'd prefer to wake it up and then unlock it.

Thanks :)

OK, so after many incarnations, here is me

After much experimentation I still keep coming back to stock Sense because it is the only launcher that gives me the transparent notification bar, next project is to find a way to make the dock transparent as well. Plenty of replacement launchers can do it but then I am back to a black notification bar, grrrr!

Clock/calendar is a custom build zoopla widget, weather is Android Weather & Clock, Plug In music widget. sms/twitter/facebook are all Android Pro Widgets (free version). Stuck with stock gmail widget ever since the big G locked it down (thanks guys!). In the notification bar we have the battery icon courtesy of Power Toggles and the network logo thanks to Phono.

I also have my Blinkfeed screen (of course) and another screen to the far right that has a couple of folders of most used apps and contacts, plus a big empty space left free for experiments.

Thanks :D

Clock on the lockscreen is SiMi Clock Widget.

I'm pretty sure that's where Widget Locker comes into play. Set it up and make it active and put some kind of unlock/slider on the lock screen and try it. This might be all you need?

Cheers.

Thanks Brandon.

Nearly there!

I've installed Widget locker, but is there any way for the lock screen to show the screen with Simi clock on it?

Thank you. I don't take any credit for it. You can find out to do it on YouTube. I typed something like best android homescreens.

Anyways, Nova Launcher, UCCW.

Have you had any problems with the Missed It app? Just asking because that's exactly what i want but the reviews have been rather negative for that app.

Thanks Brandon.

Yes, Launch the widget locker app from the app drawer. This brings up your edit screen. Long press on an area and add the SiMi clock widget to get it placed there.

Cheers.

No problems if you are using it with the stock watch items, i.e. using it with stock text, email and phone app. But i have had issues with it not reporting values correctly when i have it watch a specific app, like a new text app.

No where near enough to deter me from using the app though.

Cheers.

Brandon, you mind helping me out and sending me a PM about how you did the Missed It! bit? I've downloaded and installed it but I just can't get it to look like yours. :\

Keeping it simple with Nova Launcher Prime and Desktop Visualizer.

Completely renovated my look with a more minimalistic approach:

Using ADW Launcher (Free Version) : Screen layout is 9 x 10 (column x row)
Lock Screen Widget: Widget Locker
Clock Widget: Elegante UCCW Plus (Must have UCCW > 2.1 version installed)
Simple Text Widget for home screen text
MetroStation Icon Pack for icons
Eye in the Sky weather widget
Battery Widget Reborn

Really like this minimalistic setup. Looks elegant and fresh. I call this the "Sea Breeze" LOL

I've been trying for like 2 weeks to customize my phone to make it look really cool and clean. But i'm the most un-creative person around lol. Not getting anywhere. Some of y'alls phones look really sweet!

Rob
You should visit www.mycolorscreen.com. There are lots of themes. I designed this on my Nexus 4 but did a version for the HTC One if you like it. I have a step by step video tutorial too. You can go to www.mycolorscreen.com/badbrad to get it if you like it.

Nice setup! How did you manage to get the date to match the widget under the Monday?

It's actually from the same author of the original widget. If you search for Elegante UCCW, you will find this on the play store. Then read the description to get the link which takes you to Elegante UCCW Plus. It is a .uzip file that you have to download. Once you download it, you should be able to open it using the UCCW widget app. It's basically the same thing as the original only it has the extra date text added.

Hope this helps :)
