how to get your droid incredible to look like what people have loll ****s interesting and im a little new to this in a way. i rooted my droid and currently have a Cyanogen ROM running. but from the images i saw on the forum they look interesting

Most of the screens you see on this page is using a Custom Rom. Its called CM7 and you can find out all you need to know about that HERE.

We are also running an alternate launcher named Launcher Pro. There is a free version of this app available in the market or you can find it here HERE. The best thing I like about Launcher Pro is the docks and its customization. Icons and docks can be found HERE and many other forums/sites.

Wallpapers can be found using a basic search on Google or you can use an app. My preferred app is Zedge and can be found HERE.

And lastly widgets. This is where this thread comes in handy. There are so many apps and widgets in the Android market its hard to keep up with them or discover them all. Threads are created like this so you can show off your screens but also help people that my be looking for a certain widget or icon pack you are using. Widgets are personal so I can't link you to any one specific...except...Beautiful Widgets. Comes highly recommended by any Android User. Beautiful Widgets contain clocks widgets, weather widgets, date widgets and toggle widgets with skins/themes support. Its a paid app, but well worth it, that you can find HERE. A free alternative to this widget that I may recommend is called Fancy Widget. It doesn't offer the same amount of widgets but it gives you the "Sense-esque" clock that most users are looking for. This free app can be found HERE.

I will never understand how and why so many people root their phones but can't figure out how to do the simple stuff that doesn't require rooting at all.

Pick an alternate launcher (LauncherPro, ADW, GoLauncher, etc.), WidgetLocker, Beautiful Widgets, and Desktop Visualizer to do just about everything you see.

Want to really knock your socks off?... Look at this.
