Post your Speedtest.Net Results

These are my speeds, but keep in mind that I'm rooted and running a cooked version of the stock Inspire ROM with my build.prop settings already enabling HSUPA. We don't currently have 4G here in the Cincinnati, OH area, but my 3G speeds were always good, so I never really complained. The higher speeds are from my house and the slower speeds are from my place of work.

Has anyone with the new update taken a look st their build.prop file? I would be curious to se what the settings are.

How do you view or edit the build.prop file? My HSUPA speeds are still limited on CM7. I've modified my Access Point Names (edited AT&T and added MediaNet). I'm guessing that isn't the build.prob edit though.

i flashed cm7 last night and tested this morning from my office in atlanta. one test on our wi-fi here and one without. i was shocked!

Test right before update installed:
Ping 434
Up 1088 kbps
Down 295 kbps

Test immediatly after update installed (AND a reboot of the phone)
Ping 293
Up 2290
Down 1209

Yup, update works for me just fine

i dont have my Inspire 4g Rooted but my result after update was...

Ping 130MS
DL:2.90Mbps
Upload:1.62Mbps

Location Portland Oregon
Server Used Was In Portland

Finally got the update and the first test after another reboot gave me:

3.11 mbps down
1.16 mbps up
114 ms ping

Since then, down speeds have been hit or miss (not atypical for my area and the time of day), but the upload speeds have been fairly consistent (about 1.1 or 1.2 mbps).

Just completed download.. and update

In Huntington Beach, CA

Before

Ping 261 ms
Down 2313 kbps
Up 332 kbps

Now

Ping 116 ms
Down 2626 kbps
Up 1258 kbps

wOOt!

I finally got the update, but my speeds are even worse than before.
before
2981 down
382 up

after
1738 down
232 up

I'm getting crappy speeds even after update and manual reboot... What are you all doing to get such good speeds?!

Close your eyes, click your heels together 3 times and say "there's no place like HSUPA"... jk, network speeds vary quite a bit, and the variance will be magnified now that there's a higher threshold. Keep trying, and if you don't see a difference, contact AT&T.

I figured out my speed problem. I was connected to an AT&T microcell. They limit upload speeds. As soon as I went out my speeds jumped. I am now getting 5k down and 1.3 k up :-)

My speeds are kinda slow compared to everyone else, but in my small town, we don't even have 3G. However, I went to download the update, and my phone says it's currently up to date. I got my phone at the beginning of the month - could that be the reason I can't get the update?

Currently, I'm getting 1287 down, 331 up, and 74 ping on the Edge network.
