Power button and up volume button issues

So my power button and up volume button have stopped working sometimes. I'm on cyanogen 12.1 and I'm not sure if it is a hardware or a software issue. I bought it second hand and the previous user used it at AT&T but I use straight talk. Has anyone else had a similar issue? If it's a physical issue is there anyway I can bring it in somewhere?

Its hardware. Mine has intermittent power button issues.
Its repairable, just make sure you do the research to find a place that is trained for HTC units.
