Power button not working

Hello all.

I today found out my power button won't work what so ever.

I don't know what to do at all.

I am afraid if the battery died I won't be able to power it back up.

Please help me please.

Welcome to the forum. Not sure what the power button has to do with charging. You can still keep the phone charged up. Does the S6 turn on by pressing the home button or plugging a cable into the port? Sorry, can't remember. Regardless of the other, if the power button is gone you might try cleaning it with an electronic spray cleaner. If no go there, the only real choices are take it to a repair shop or get something else.

It's very strange it wouldn't work most of yesterday then late in the night it started working again and now it's stopped working again.

Every other button works fine just the power button

I had some lint under the button and it became mushy. Compressed air fixed it.
