The power button on my galaxy s4 is completely broken. I can not even turn my phone on. I have called around and all I get for an answer is I have to buy a new phone. Since I know it can be repaired and being a single mother of 2 at minimum wage I need to get it fixed rather then buy another phone. Is it really so expensive to fix a button?!

Don't quote me, but I believe the power button is part of the motherboard of the phone. Do some research on Google there could be a cell phone repair kiosk in a local mall that might do it for a reasonable price. Since your in the Verizon forum. Verizon has a program called "the ineligible device offer" for people who currently have no upgrade. What you do is go to a corporate store and tell them you'd like to redeem that offer and they will give you 300 off of full retail for a phone. So for instance say full retail for phone X is 300. The phone would be free. Plus a 30 dollar upgrade fee. So you could get a brand new phone for 30 bucks if the one you want is 300 full retail. They do not market this program. You can also redeem this through customer service by calling *611. Hope this helps. Good luck.
