power button quit working

I have a rooted droid and the power button quit working. I really need help on getting back to stock without a power button. If anyone knows of a work around i would be very thankful.

Do you have insurance if you can not get it working? I have read people HAVE returned phones with 2.2 on it (not saying to do that but it has been done)

I've returned an eris with a leaked 2.1 version on it or you could use rom manager and download a stock rom, don't need power button button for that

ive tried the stock rom from rom manager but never goes though. I must be missing something.
