Power button to end call doesn't work

If have a lg g flex2 H955 International version. I cant get the power button to end call function to work.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for reply. This is a rooted phone but it didn't work before I rooted it. So does the safe mode work on rooted phones, and what is the purpose of the safe mode? Before I try.

Also when I tap accessibility in the settings menu for some reason it takes me to home page

Safe Mode temporarily disables all 3rd party apps that you installed, so it can help troubleshoot if the problem is due to one of those (as opposed to a problem with the firmware or hardware). I'm not sure if rooting affects Safe Mode.

I tried the safe mode. Does not work in safe mode either, bummer.

Hmm, It appears it works but not while the phone is on speaker phone. Can anyone confirm this?
