Power button

Double tap screen to turn off/sleep and double tap again to turn the screen back on/wake. Very handy feature, I find myself trying to tap other phones to wake them up now though....

LOOL I do that too! When I first got my Honor 8 after having my LG G3, I double tapped the screen a couple of times. 😜

Knock code is the code you use to unlock your screen not to turn it on that's just a double tap for on/off
Knock code is found in your lock screen settings can be configured to be as many taps as you want and however you want in the 4 "tap squares".

I tried to use a knock code on my G3 but double tap was so much easier to remember... 😜.

Naaah, for lock double tap, for unlock fingerprint.. Everything else is just smoke in mirrors.. 😂

Ah yes so it is, my bad 🙈. In that case they are both great features none the less.

Just noticed that on my G6 the power button doesn't always turn the screen off when you press it, sometimes, may be one in ten, it requires a press or two more. Is this normal or a possible hardware issue? How is yours? Please let me know..

Might be late to the party, but I returned two G6's back to T-Mobile due to wonky rear power buttons. The first one was, like yours, woefully unreliable... would work maybe 25% of the time. The second one was just as bad, but this time the button at least felt busted (it felt a wee bit wobbly, like the control disk on an old Intellivision controller ... ok, I'm, dating myself there)

The THIRD one... well... that one did the trick. The button didn't feel like it was hanging on for its dear life AND it did its intended job every time.

I'm curious to know : out of the 2 you returned did any of them had a malfunctioning fingerprint scanner ? Or did both function fine ? I just wonder if one's malfunction would affect the other aspect of the button too.

The FPS was fast and reliable on both units.
