Hi everyone-

So I just got the Droid Incredible 2 and every night before I go to sleep I turn it off to conserve some power. But in the morning when I wake up and turn it on it says "connect charger".... last night when I went to bed it had at least 35% power so I don't understand what's going on.

Is it possible that I'm not turning it off properly? (I hold down the button at the top until it gives me 3 options and then I press power off) Or is this just a common occurrence with this phone?

Anyone have a clue?

Please help!

HTC has added the fast boot feature to the phone. This makes it so your phone turns on and off extremely quickly. That's great and all, but it does't really shut your phone down, rather it puts your phone into a deep sleep, so your battery is still somewhat active. You can shut the feature off by going into Settings > Power > and at the bottom is the option to shut off fast boot. I think that should solve your problem.

I think this goes for all Smartphones. My BlackBerry was the same way. Powering down the phone puts it in a sleep or stand by mode.
