Pre-ordered? Get yo money!!

They keep asking all about the code, and not just giving me the credit. Passed around several departments, all I want is a credit to the account.

Wanting to know where the code is from, and whatnot.

They want me to return it, and then reorder the phone. I wonder if it is because mine is already marked as delivered.

I GOT IT! (2) $90 credits applied to my account! I had to escilate to a manager. Said I felt penalized for preordering... he said he's had a few others and it is a valid discount. So he applied my credit. (I Did tell them that if you went online & ordered it w/ promo that it did work. That I was happy to cancel my pre-order & pick it up tomorrow in store instead.)

Ask them to try and purchase a note 3 online. Ask them to put in promo code verizon30 (one word) and make sure they hit "okay" next to the promo code. I don't get why there giving you a hard time.

I did, and they said that because it is not a price change, but a discount, that they can not issue a credit. They would help me return the phone and go about getting another one. I might try one more time, but losing hope of a change happening

Sorry.....I just tried it again online right now and it still says 209$. It only works if you have an upgrade. If your trying at retail, it won't work.

I just got off the phone with Billing. The guy had me on hold for close to 40 minutes and then comes back and claims it was a "scam". So I went online as if I was making a new purchase, applied the promo code and BOOM, $209. I'm chatting with someone now and they insist I can get the promo code IF I return this current phone. It makes no sense....

Wth!!!!!! Today just gets better and better. I just called and got credited another 30$....... = 120$!!!!!! Thanks bro!!!!

No problem! It's not often we can take advantage of a VZW promotion!

Did not work with chat. The chat rep did confirm the code exist, and instructed to contact customer service. Called customer service, first rep did not know what to do and transferred me to a second rep. Second rep still had no clue, but searched around and did indeed find "Verizon30" as a special online offer. She was unable to give me credit back to my card, but she was able to apply $90 credit to my account. Took about 45 minutes over the phone.

3 different people
2 hours of my time

Got $30 credit ( maybe )
they wont budge on the $90

GOD I HATE VERIZON

I also tried chat 3 times but to no avail. All three denied the existence of the coupon and gave me a phone number to call.

If I return the phone as I was instructed to by the rep over the phone, I wonder if Verizon will try to charge me a restocking fee.

And just finished talking to a representative, and she's crediting me $90. I was tempted to ask her to credit me the activation fee as well considering I was bounced around Verizon Wireless Customer service like a basketball at Lebron James' house. 5 customer service agents later. Keep calling, if anything it'll cost verizon to field all the extra traffic to their call centers.

you should have...i did and got that too!!

Two in chat, not a clue. And 3 calls, and can't get anywhere. They see it, and understand that it works. I to was told they didn't know if it was a scam. (keep in mind, it would be a scam they set up)

And so, I am giving up. They said I could return the phone and order the new one. I am not interested in that, when it is in hand. My time is not worth still fighting with this. They were consistant that it was a promotion and they could not give me a credit, since it wasn't a actual price drop.

I tried explaining that it was cheaper to give me a credit on my account, than to have me return the phone and more people handle it, and then have to reship it again. He agreed, but couldn't change anything.

i went online to confirm the credit has shown up on my account and it is there.....worth the 30-40min i spent on the phone!

Well, i gotta say...... I was sceptical but this worked for me also. $90 credited to my account!!!!!

It was a long and arduous process but I finally received the $90 credit. I chose not to fight for the activation fee because I was ready to fire up my new phone. Unfortunately, it failed to activate...

If any of you guys get the run around, you can log into your VerizonWireless.com account and go through the motions of adding the phone to your cart up to the "review order" step and add the promo code. Tell the reps that you can send them a screenshot to confirm the code.

Oh and normally I'd post up that if you call and ask for the customer rep I spoke to named Hugh Jayness, he is the one that helped me, but since it's my first day on this site, I figured I'd behave myself.....(say the name out loud....)
