Pre-ordering with Best Buy

i was thinking of getting the note 10 through bestbuy... do any of you know what the trade in is for the galaxy s10? The website is confusing because it says the trade in is 600 but the promotion says you can get up to 700 trade in...

Trade in is 600. It says 700 depending on the model you get. Most are 50 off with Sprint being 100 off.

I didnt see the freebies either but I do know we usually get some good Samsung Pay points when we get these new phones

I used to exclusively preorder my Samsung phones through BestBuy, because back in the day they offered the preorder freebies on the spot vs. submitting a rebate style request and waiting/hoping you got what you wanted. It was a great incentive, and made it worth dealing with the store/staff. They stopped, and at least with my local store it just hasn't been worth the hassle. Forced appointments (that they don't always stay on top of), clueless and sometimes rude or obnoxious staff, last year they admitted not even having enough for everyone on hand, etc. Last year I swore to myself I wouldn't do it again, so I'm likely a Samsung.com preorder this year. I do want to pop in to Costco, though, after seeing something about a $200 rebate for new or upgrade lines with AT&T. (If true and on top of the $150 Samsung credit? Count me in! Not clear if just for the BOGO offer though, or any Note 10/+ preorder.)

I have a dumb question, those of you that've preordered previously with Best Buy. Does it show "Shipped" and you can track it on its way to the store? In the past, I've preordered through my carriers and get tracking that way because they'd ship to my home. First time preordering through Best Buy.

I've ordered and picked up other stuff from them but not preorder stuff.

Can you have the N10 shipped, then drop off or ship the trade-in device later? Or do you have to do this all in the store?

One advantage of Samsung direct is you have 2 weeks to send your old device back, giving you time to try the new phone, transfer files, etc. If you decide you don't like the N10, you still have the old phone to fall back to, whereas if you had to do this all in the store, you'll probably never see your old phone.

I ordered my note 8 from best buy, had 0.0 issues.

I preordered a 256g Aurora Note10+. I am trading in my Note 9 so i need to pick up. Fine print mentions we get the $150 dollar credit to Samsung.com once we log in to the store on the Note 10+. Good luck all! 2 weeks away

Says In Progress. I wasnt sure if they'd show tracking info since it's not delivering to my home.
