Pre-ordering with Best Buy

I’ve preordered all my phones since the palm pre with zero problems. Like another poster said I liked the instant freebies but if I have to wait a little no big deal because I will have a kick *** phone.

Have you guys known Best Buy to have phones ready for pickup before launch date

I changed mine from store pickup (it said pick up on the 23rd) to ship to my home (it now says receive by the 23rd)

Last two purchased from BestBuy was on time. However, it was all delivery, not pickup. Somehow this time around, the only option was picked up at the store. We'll see.

maybe an odd question but I did the bogo Verizon deal at bb yesterday. one blue one Aurora glow. both n10+ traded in my n8. so my question is Verizon bogo says up to $950 in monthly device credits. the blue is mine and that is what showes the trade of 300 bucks. then the other is full price new line. will Verizon hose me on the 950 credit? and give me the lower cost device credit? as that is usually how the bogo goes. $1050 for the new line and $750 for my line upgrade? if I don't do the trade in I could sell my n8 for 200-250 pretty easy I think. if I can even cancel my trade at this point. and none of my bb recipes show anything about the bogo. going to go by there and ask about that today or tomorrow...

The way the sales department explained it to me. You get the note 10 free. If you want the note 10+ it's like $6 something a month more.

She also clarified that you CAN NOT do the trade in and the free BOGO offer, they can't be stacked.

My note8 came in to the store a couple days early when I preordered it. I got an email saying I could pick it up, and I remember a few sales people were confused because they knew they had them, but weren't told they could release them. When I was preordering my Note10 online, it said it would ship to my house. But then when I checked out, it said it had to be shipped to the store. I'm guessing because I also have a trade-in?

I thought that too per the Verizon site but bb told me that because the trade in was to bb and not Verizon that I could do both? Does your receipt show anything about the bogo?

Is BB where you send the trade in, meaning your giving it to BB and BB is giving you the credit, not Verizon. Verizon usually handles the BOGO and trade in. I would double check, Verizon will be the ones that ultimately decide that. I would hate for you to send in your phone and only get what Verizon calls market value.

Yes bb is taking my trade when I pickup my new n10. $300 I think Verizon was only 185 or something like that. I pd my sales tax when I ordered and it shows the 300 in trade

There you go. I'd BB is paying the trade in your good. If BB is just sending the trade in to Verizon for you then maybe a issue. I have no idea, just cover your bases.

yeah I'm definitely going to go in and double check. I have worked with the salesman there before and he knows his stuff. he is also the official Verizon rep or salesman there

Ordered through Best Buy at 12:40 a.m. Blue, 10+. Upgrading from my Note 9. Shows Guaranteed pick up date of Aug.23.

Had trouble earlier but perhaps the site was bogged down or something. Got the order # and everything.

Now...the wait.

Glad to hear it finally went through.

According to the fine print, if you pre-order an UNLOCKED phone and have a trade in, you just get a gift card for the trade in amount and it cannot be used towards the Note 10/10+

From Best Buy's site:
*Valid through 8/22/19 or until release date of phone, whichever is earlier. Valid only on in-store trade-in of a smartphone in good working condition. Must pre-order, trade in an eligible device and activate a Samsung Galaxy Note10 or Note10+. Activation not required for unlocked trade-in savings. Upon trade-in of an eligible device, customer will receive value toward a new device. For unlocked phones and one-time payment, this value will be a Best Buy gift card, which cannot be applied to your Note10 or Note10+ purchase.

I did the bogo on Verizon thru bestbuy and Verizon made it clear to me that I could not do a trade in with the bogo also. So least I found someone else they told that too lol. I just upgraded my note8 line (that I was going to trade in. Bestbuy said $300 Verizon $100 and something) and I'll just sell my note8 to my friend that needs a phone. My lovely note9 will be backup.
