They had that deal last weekend when I ordered too. I asked on the support chat if the activation fee would be dropped even though the phone doesn't technically get activated until I recieve it on the 29th. She said yes but I am still nervous that it won't be credited on the first bill because it clearly shows up on the shopping cart. I'd rather it just wasn't there to start with because this can cause confusion down the line if it isn't properly credited on the first bill.

A rep I spoke with on Wednesday of this week said that we should see that updated around Monday of next week (the 26th).

I'm just worried I'm going to get screwed because I selected the free shipping option over the overnight option.

If only you had noticed this. In reality, though, I think you'll be fine. All the advertisements say any orders received before 4pm local on 4/28 will be delivered on 4/29, which makes me wonder what the point of a overnight vs standard shipping is. Either way, you'll get your phone on the 29th according to Verizon.

I pre-ordered on the 19th went online to check the status today, and it gave a fedex tracking number. Went to FedEx... estimated delivery date 4:30pm on 04/28.. we'll see.

Well, I could not hold till 04/28 when my NE2 becomes active, I called this morning and asked the Rep. if she can move my NE2 date to today 04/26 to be able to place my order, and she said sure I can do that, and told me to check online status in about 15-20 mins, and check like 2 mins later and it is already active , Yahoooooooooo

I went and placed my order $199.99 (Phone price w/2Yr Contract)-$50(NE2) = $149.99, and added the data plan for $29.99 - 20% (discount for my company) = $23.99

For the great Stats of CA I have to pay taxes $51.67) based on the phone's full price of $599.99, so my total came to $201.66 charged to my account, so I have till 06/12 to pay this and got the free overnight shipping using the "FREEOVERNT" code.

My order starts with "327592xxx", I'm not sure if they will be able to ship on time or what, will see.

Also I saw this "Limited Introductory Offer: 2 GB MicroSD card" [See attached pic] showing under the included accessories part, I'm not sure if this will be included in the box, or will be shipped separate or what

I got 100.00 off, using my NE2. I have had that upgrade waiting since November of last year though.

Mine was based on a contract 08/2008 with a $39.99 plan and the NE2 was $50.00

For new contracts starting on 02/2009, they reduced the NE2 to $30.00 only for plans till $49.99 and then $50.00 for higher plans
