i'd never throw a screen protector on this phone. just ruins the amazing quality of the screen, especially the new "smudge proof" protector they have. makes screens look like absolute garbage.

I apply screen protectors on every type of device that they make them for, and there are very few devices and protectors id actually use them with

It is not about sliding my finger for me, it is about how screen protectors make the display feel. Screen protectors tend to make the display feel cheap and I cringe everytime I use a freind's phone if they have a screen protector on. I have never used one myself and have never scratched a screen so I am not even convinced of the utility of one, especially with modern fortified glass

Well I have a watch that has a huge scratch on it which I have no idea how it got there in less than a year of owning it, so I will probably need a screen protector. Probably not Invisible Shield this time since I have one of my current phone...it just seems a bit thicker than other screens and a tad stickier on the fingers.

I like the zagg also but, want to try ghost armor. The ghost armor isn't selling anything for the GN right now so I might go with the zagg or sgp.

I was gonna try ghost armor but I hate ordering online sometimes lol.

My wife has a rezound with zagg on it and didn't ruin how the color or brightness or quality of that screen.
But every body has their own liking or what not.

Soon enough will have this phone lol.

Yeah, to each their own. Frankly, I'd rather have a slightly different texture to my phone screen than get the inevitable little nicks and scratches. Those drive me absolutely nuts.

So, for me, it's a fair trade off.

I've heard ppl swear by the Steinheil brand. They say it's the best of all the protectors.

Since its not gorilla glass how good is the new glass on it? I saw the key test but its the one you don't know your doing is what im worried cause that's when you usually stratch something lol.

There is a video (AC and Droid Life Posted it) with someone who ran keys over the screen and no scratches.

In my experience, it's never keys... it's always sand, grit... small things like that that nick up a phone.

Hey Mr. (guitardedhero) this is (rep name) at Verizon, I will have a nexus for u Saturday...... what other phone would you need for ur wife...

Exactly how I received it. Asked if they received some nexus phones already but haven't heard back from him yet.

Hmmm putting out on a Saturday huh? Wonder why. Razr was like 9ut oon the floor a day in advance for people to play around with lol.

I'd still roll or check up on Thursday aand Friday.
Thank god the retail box isn't the final one. I love keeping them around handy for reselling or what not

looks like its finally time to get calling verizon and get my upgrade date bumped up...i got the Droid X on launch and my upgrade date isnt till March...any ideas how to convince them to move it up? or will they do so as long as i pay the $20 upgrade fee(at least i think that is something that exists)

I bought the DX at launch also and have been eligible for an upgrade since July. Do they not honor yearly upgrades in store?
