I preordered an Evo 4G LTE on Monday and my credit card was already charged. I looked at my Sprint bill today and it says $-4.50. I never pay my Sprint bill by credit card, always through bank transfer, yet for some reason the Evo preorder payment was applied to my total bill (monthly charge + buyout of contract for $115).
What's going on here? Will Sprint accounting eventually correct this, or did I get an extra $200? They already charged my credit card for my preoder, so they aren't allowed to charge my card again when the phone ships. Of course Sprint can always go back and fix my online bill to the proper amount (I can always hope they wont, but I doubt I'll be that lucky).
