I was bummed on the Dec 5 date too. Guess I'll be buying another Dbrand skin for my V20 and wait until a nice price drop.

The HTC would definitely NOT be one of my alternate choices.

You could also grab one of the international versions from South Korea. Just make sure to check the bands for each model (V300K, V300L, V300S) with your carrier. Shipping is pretty quick, I got my mine in 2 days (V300L - Moroccan Blue).

That is an interesting idea. The blue is not available unlocked in US it seems.

Do you really need a new phone that badly? I'd wait it out. Maybe buy a cheap V20 or G6 to keep you busy for the meantime, then re-sell it later on Swappa. I see a brand new V20 on eBay for $250 shipped, probably cheaper used. Still great phones.

Judging by the past with my V20 unlocked, I'll have to wait until March 2018 to get the V30 at my price point.
