Prepare Yourself for Late Delivery

We're all excited about pre-ordering our new phones, but remember to be prepared for late arrivals. I just feel it.

Deliveries have been arriving later than what I'm accustomed to - not just ground deliveries, but 2nd day and overnight. Maybe it's just me. I order a lot of stuff.

My Galaxy Watch 4 was supposed to be shipped on the 7th, with an arrival the next day. I paid for faster shipping. The watch was just picked up by FedEx yesterday...and it's not even in my state yet, so it's not coming today. I may not get it till Monday...I'm hoping they'll deliver it tomorrow.

With all these orders, and the fact that we're still in a pandemic, it's a good idea to be reallllly patient.

Good point. I'd rather be pleasantly surprised if it arrives on time.

We shall see. But yes, there are shipping problems and this time of the year, very easy to get a weather related problem; especially where I live and the FedEx lady drive a 4x4 truck.

Nope. I expect mine to be here the day of release. Nothing else will be accepted and no reason that I need it that day but it better be here or else somebody's going to be answering my phone calls lol

Especially for the exclusive colors. They say it on the main page that it's a 3-4 weeks... Doesn't make sense because they should be available on the 25th with the rest of the colors. I ordered the Sky Blue and it's saying March 9th

FedEx is having staffing issues just like the rest of the country... So yea, it could happen.

Yep...and add to that FedEx delivery delays out of Samsung's control. I just want everybody to be calm and ready, because it's always poppin' on delivery day...folks are super stressed, looking for the FedEx/UPS truck. If somebody mentions they got their phone already? Lol...folks turn into Thanos.

I prefer black phones, so there was no temptation to chance it with an exclusive color.

My FedEx OVERNIGHT delivery I was supposed to get on the 8th is now coming on the 14th. That was confirmation to prepare myself.

I'm prepared that there will be issues. I also am happy to have been able to survive & complete the order process.

I received an email in September that Fed Ex was returning to their physical signature requirements for their paid premium signature services. So with staffing issues & requiring physical signatures again, that could definitely slow things down.

A roaming cat in the area does not stress me; just keeping my loaded .308 rifle near the back door. Therefore, I will not be stressed for a phone delivery? (Unless it attacks the FedEx delivery lady.)

Nope. In fact, nothing in regards to deliveries stress me anymore. Samsung's website stressed me a bit, but over that.

I have had a truck on order now for months; still no idea of delivery. Stopped stressing about that.

But it sure sounds like your having more problems then I am on deliveries. So far, most are coming on time, including the, usually late UPS guy. When I say on time, I mean as noted for delivery by the retailer; however, Amazon has been lagging on shipping and usually a longer time than two-days.

Best to remain calm, have another drink, watch another worthless movie and know, it's all a sign of the times.

Same! As far as delayed deliveries...yup, emails from FedEx saying a couple of pkgs we're delayed.
