Presentation and Livestream

If its better than the V20 launch that will be a step in the right direction as it left more questions than answers. I want to see LG do better this year. If not I'll happily wait for a smaller Galaxy S9 with the dual camera setup from the Note 8 assuming they don't upgrade the camera sensors which is way too early to tell. Not too mention LG didn't even provide clear links or instructions to the event last year.

An internal document supplied to*Android Authority*suggests the phone will launch in*Europe on September 28, and the same source claims you'll be able to pre-order the V30 in the US from September 17

Just a measly 5 hours and 20 minutes. I think I'll go to bed at 10:30 and set my alarm for 2:50. Make some coffee. Grab some donuts and relax. Let's see if I actually do it.lol

Well I'm up so...

What do you mean you think?
It was good. I think they could've shown more picture samples from the new lens but overall great presentation. I really love what LG has done and they took the main sensor back up to 16mp instead of the 13mp on the G6 and the second lens has the widest aperture on a secondary lens at f/1.9. Now that has me excited.

Agreed... And I think 13megapixel on the wide will be fine. One minor disappointment is 5 megapixel on the front cam, but I can live with that. I don't do many selfies and I don't feel selfies require great resolution. I view them more as fun shots. If I want a real good selfie I'll do it the old fashioned way and turn the camera around. The floating screen secondary screen looks decent though they didn't show much. I'm hoping phone calls while using other apps still function the same on the secondary screen. I really dig that special zoom feature that's allows you to center on a subject while zooming. I'm OK with 7.1 nougat. I saw some grumbling on Youtube already about it not coming with 8.0. Not a big deal as far as I'm concerned.

I want to see those same people grumbling about their beloved Note 8 not having it as well. But the response has been very promising across the board so far. I agree with the 5mp ffc but maybe they enhanced it a little? I would hope so. Low light shots should be a beast. That screen looks gorgeous too.

I can't tell how an OLED screen looks on a LCD
