So rooted using z4root just fine but after I completing the deodexing process, my pro is stuck in a bootloop :P this is the second pro iv tried this on and the first one worked fine so pretty sure i followed all the steps correctly again. iv read up on similar devices and solutions for them, but will they work? if they would them im having trouble finding a sbf file for the pro to load using RSD (i think that's how I would do that) but then what about getting into bootloader mode? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Oh and device is stock, no software removed, only thing done was the root and a couple of downloaded apps

as far as i know, i dont think an sbf for the dPro has made its way into the wild yet. i would need someone a little more versed on the recovery process to hop on here as far as alternative solutions go though

I was able to root and deodex my DPro... I started a thread about it... As far as sbf and recovery... its a no go yet... I have been trying to work out how to get to bootloader so the DPro can get bootstrap for recovery and as of yet I have not found the key combo to get into it... where does it loop? if at the droid animation, then all you really need is to have the cache cleared and it should fix your issue... with a bootstrap though i don't know if you can get in as the only way I made it into the stock recovery was using adb and thats needs your phone to boot up correctly... you can try a long shot. call customer service and ask for tier 2 help... once you are at tier 2 technical help, see if they will give you the key combo to get into the stock recovery console so you can wipe the cache. Don't lie to them, tell them your phone is in a bootloop and that it can easily be fixed if the dalvik cache can be wiped... tell them you need the key combo to get to the stock recovery... like i said long shot but it may just work without getting a new phone.

its looping at the droid animation, and i wiped the cache through what i thought was the stock recovery mode. hold r and m and power, yellow triangle and press @ but it still didnt work. also i held m and volume up, press power, i held it for maybe 30 seconds and my phone froze on the M logo, but i plugged it into my computer and RSD recognizes it as a Flash MDM6600, could that be a start at getting into a different recovery mode?

Usually the cache wipe fixes it, so without an sbf the only thing you can do is take it back and get a new one. Until we can bootstrap recovery and make backups, this is are only recourse..
