It's just a cheapie from Amazon (I bought it so I could compare the size against my one plus and my iPhone) then I have a couple cheapies on the way from eBay

Oh, I can see that - the case(s) will give you the dimensions of the beast. I like it. I recall taking my 6Pro to Verizon to compare with the Pixel Fold. Dimensions were easy to compare but the store's protective leash made it hard to compare weight.

But if they are going to make it narrower in the folded mode, I will probably not be very interested. Frankly, I don't dwell that much on the new version. Is there a potential date for release?
