so, i am trying to load the rom from this forum (das BAMF):

http://forums.androidcentral.com/th...2-11-605-0-sense3-0-bamf-forever-1-0-2-a.html

problem is that everytime i load it, i never get any signal after it loads.

im new to rooting (just did it today for the first time) think i need the mr2 radio. so i downloaded it from here: http://forums.androidcentral.com/th...-mr2-compatible-rom-radio-mr1-after-root.html

so i go into rom manager install the zip. go back and install the das bamf rom and when i get all loaded up, im not getting any signal.

i am completely lost. the rom looks awesome and i want to use it but right now im stuck. can't find any ideas on any searches ive done, so any help is greatly appreciated. if someone can point me in the right direction, im greatly indebted. \

To flash the radio, rename the zip to PG05IMG.zip if it's not already and place it on the root of your SD Card. Boot into Bootloader: power off your phone... Turn the phone back on by holding down the volume down rocker and the power button at the same time until the phone opens in bootloader. The zip should start running and updating the radio. Once done reboot the phone on and remove the PG05IMG.zip from your phone, or rename, or move it off the root of the sd card in another folder. If its not moved after the installation it will constantly keep trying to update the radio if you ever need to boot into bootloader again to get to recovery.

If you follow the link in my signature... oh, let's make this shorter... you need to download one of the latest Gingerbread Radios... here is a link: [RADIO] HTC Thunderbolt Radios [PG05IMG.zip] (Updated: 23 Aug 2011) - xda-developers... the latest radio is "From the 2.11.605.0 RUU"... you need to install the CDMA radio that have listed... and also the LTE radio from 2.10... and PLEASE double check the MD5 Sum code before you attempt to install the radio files.

i really appreciate your help.

I thought you said you installed the ROM already... you don't need to install it again... and yes, you can install them before or after you install a ROM... flash them one at a time just as I described above.

Froyo radio's don't work on Gingerbread ROMs. More than likely you loaded a Radio that only works on the old Stock Froyo ROM. It happens a LOT around here... we just try to help people here.
