Problem with Ford Sync. Any users with a Sync vehicle?

My phone syncs up fine with my 08 Ford Explorer SYNC software. I have a problem though. Each time I turn the car on, it automatically starts to play music from my phone, even when I turn the "autoplay" function off, through Sync. Anyone experience this issue and know how to stop it? Each time I have to go into the phone and stop the music, else it drains my battery.

I have a '10 Ford Focus with Sync. ALL audio seems to get routed to bluetooth/Sync when the phone is connected. Kind of annoying but I'm used to it.

I wish the bluetooth phone volume is louder. I tried some BT volume control apps but they don't seem to work with this phone. I have to crank up the volume to hear whoever I'm talking to, and God help me if I forget to turn the volume back down again after hanging up...

I wish the text reading/writing/sending stuff worked with this phone.

I have had my texts read aloud to me. I haven't tried sending a text but I do know that it will read. Not sure if I had to set up anything to do it though - I think I did but I can't remember.

When I got my GS2, I discovered my '10 Fusion's SYNC would start the stock music app EVERY. EFFING. TIME. I got in the car and (of course) Samsung was so committed to being helpful that they didn't think you'r ever not want the music playing. *cough*

I ended up getting Headset Blocker which cut that crap off right quick. I still have some control over certain apps from the controls, but I don't usually mess with them.
