Problem with google sign in galaxy note 8.0 on 4G

hi all iv just got a note 8.0 & i cant sign in to my google account for android, I get an error saying there was a problem communicating with google services, try again later. It wont even let me create a new gmail account. And another problem is the device is not recognised when i plug it in to a laptop. iv done a factory reset & 2 step verification is not switched on. plz can anyone help me.

Welcome to Android Central! Is this happening right out of the box? You couldn't even log into your Google account in the setup wizard?

I've been seeing a lot of this lately, it seems. Have you tried changing your Google password on your computer browser? Also, go to the app page for Google Play Services in the Google Play Store, and make sure it doesn't need an update.
