problem with ringtone and notification volume

Got the ota of Marshmallow 6 on my Nexus 6 from Verizon Wireless about a week ago....not to sure if this has anything to do with the new doze mode or not, but since the OTA, my volume on my ringtone, is grayed out, and I do not get any notification sounds or ringtone anymore....anyone know how to make it right again?

Okay just solved the problem. For some unknown reason to me, the phone was set to "Do not disturb" mode! I never remember setting it that way .
