Hi everyone,

Got a couple of problems with my s3... one i have been living with for a few months, and another which started around 10 days ago...

The one that is bugging me is what happened 10 days ago - the phone started going slow, unresponsive almost and it crashed...so restarted it as you do... but then every couple of hours it would just crash.

I wasnt doing anything with the phone, just say for example if it was on my desk, and i tried to unlock it, it was just a black screen, non responsive but the phone was on.

It crashes all the time now on a daily basis and iv went in and checked and deleted all apps but still crashes, done a reset still crashes... im on 4.1.2 orange UK.

My second problem I have (not sure if it is related) but my LED is constantly on and stuck on blue (not flashing) - I could lock my phone and it stays blue like it is stuck, even during charging it is blue, and also when the phone is off on nighttime it is still blue - I have tried a different battery, but as soon as new battery hits gold connectors the blue led comes on again

any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Is your phone stock? or have you flashed a custom rom at all?

You may want to back up your phone and try a factory restore -- see if either issue persists. If they persist on a newly restored phone (Before you load your data from your backup) then you likely have a hardware problem.

You may also want to flash a custom rom, a light weight one for your phone and see if either issue gets better by doing that.

When you say you did a reset, do you mean the complete factory reset that returned your phone to stock state, and made you go through all the setup steps again? If not, I would do that next.

Do you have an SD card? If so, try removing it. Also try removing and reseating the SIM card, and if it's still crashing, see what happens with no SIM card inserted.

You might also try a battery pull. Leave it out for several minutes, then try again. If none of this helps, I think it's time for a warranty claim.

yes, its a stock phone - got no sd card, tried the sim, also done the battery pull and left it out overnight but still the same :)

Iv tried doing power, home ,vol up and clearing cache but that didnt work, so going to do wipe data/factory reset now and see what happens ....

Ok, had it reset for 30minutes and its crashed again...looks like il be sending it back for a fix
