Take a look at this screen shot. I cropped this picture to be the perfect size for the phone's screen. How come it makes you pick the crop box when trying to add a photo for the wallpaper?

This isn't your old dumb or feature phone, when selecting a pic for your homepage you have to take into account all of the screens. You should notice that the picture moves just a little from side to side as you scroll through the pages, it's not the same exact pic each page. So your pic will have to be much longer than tall to get all/most of the pic you want in the crop.

If you use the wallpaper wizardrii app, you can make it so that your wallpaper wont be zoomed in. I've had this issue with all 3 of my smartphones, until someone recommended this app, its awesome!

Actually, with Sense 3.5 the wallpaper doesn't scroll. The app mentioned in the above post works WONDERS, fyi.

Thanks, Matt

I stand corrected. I really hasn't looked at it only thinking of what my Inc did. Plus I haven't changed the stock wallpaper. Now I feel like one of those people who urk me by not answering the question posted but some other something that wasn't asked. Hey but I did revive the thread to get you an answer, so hopefully that counts for something, and I learned a little too.
