Problems syncing Calendar and Contacts

Hey guys, just got my Incredible today but am having problems syncing with my Google account. It syncs my Gmail fine, but contacts and calendar it says "sync is currently experiencing issues." I have tried erasing Calendar app data and restarting the phone, but I still get that error. Any ideas?

Google was having an issue with a Google Calendar outage yesterday for a while. Are you still having the problem today?

I'd also go into data sync settings and turn them off and then back on again and see if that helps.
